A multi-entity global agri-food group

Turning Trapped ERP Data Into Daily Decisions

A governed data layer and production BI that gave a multi-country agri-food group its first single, trustworthy view of farming and plant operations — without touching the live ERP.

The proof

The number, kept honest.

In production— dashboards in daily use by named business owners
Zero-write integration— read-only, no-touch-on-production ERP architecture
One governedlayer — replacing scattered ERP exports and spreadsheets
Multi-domain BI— production, finance, sales/vendor, and farmer intelligence
01

The challenge.

Operational and financial data sat trapped across ERP modules and spreadsheets, with no consolidated view of farming and production. Management couldn’t see volume, yield, order throughput or farmer-level economics in one place. Any solution had to read from the production ERP without risking it.

02

The approach.

  • A read-only, no-touch-on-production extraction layer feeding a governed, cleaned data store — so reporting can never write back to or destabilize the live ERP.

  • Engineered production KPIs (volume/yield, orders/day, line-opening rates) and finance/management and sales/vendor dashboards on top of the governed layer.

  • A farmer/agri-intelligence view (farmer profile, productivity, geography, field-officer coverage, and loss-making “red-farmer” economics) to make farm-level ROI visible.

03

What shipped.

A governed clean-data layer plus a live, multi-domain BI suite (production, finance, sales/vendor, farmer intelligence) running in production with named business owners.
